Thanksgiving
What a day we have had here at the Morrow home.
It was a great day.
John, Jenny, Amber, Jessica, Michael, Daniel who is Amber's friend, Larry Sr., Kristi, Bruce, Justin, Hannah, Harrison and myself were all here.
14 in all. It was a day filled with laughter.
We had turkey, dressing, Mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, corn on the cob, Veg-Al casserole, sweet potato casserole, Crock-pot macaroni and cheese, yeast rolls and all kinds of drinks.
Then a table with a wonderful cake that Larry had ordered from Amy, pumpkin pies, chocolate pie, pumpkin cheese pie, apple pie, blueberry cheese cake, cherry cheese cake and banana pudding.
Now folks can you think of anything that we did not have????
It was wonderful and to top the day off we are watching the new movie called, Old Fashioned Thanksgiving.
My Kristi is soooooooooooo tired. How hard she has worked today.
The food is still out and we are just being lazy.
Today has been a day of total rest for me. Kristi made me a wonderful bed in her and Bruce's room and that is where I spent most of the day. It is the most rest I have had since I have come home from the hospital.
I would like to go home tomorrow evening and stay until Sunday night if possible.
God has been so good to me. I have so much to thank Him for. He has just showered me with blessing after blessing.
He has shown mercy when mercy was not deserved. He has given me grace when grace was not merited. He has given me so much love there are no words to express to him and Thank you just is not enough. How I love him.
Thank you for all of your prayers and please continue to pray for me. I don't want to do anything that will cause me to have a set back.

God is so good!!
Hello to all out in blogger land,
This is Monday morning and I am on the road to recovery.
The Morrow family is really taking good care of me and I am enjoying it very much.
They are such a loving family. The children are really loveable to each other. Now they have their time of not agreeing but all in all they really love each other.
They are now having school and it is a pleasure to see how they work together at the dining room table.
Harrison is now doing his math and Mom is showing him some things plus she is also doing laundry, cleaned out the fridge and cleaning the kitchen. She work's all the time. I get tired just watching her. :} :}
Bruce is sick with a head cold and was not able to go to work last night and he is really bad today. Please pray that he will get over this soon. Kristi is pumping him full of vitamim C. She really pushes that vitamim and I truly believe that it works.
Mrs. Janet sent home Sunday dinner for us Saturday night and it was wonderful yesterday.
Thank you Mrs. Janet for all of your kindness.
Larry should be home in just a little bit from dialysis. I pray that all went well for him this morning.
He told me yesterday that he was very lonely at the house by himself. I truly pray that it won't be to much longer before I can get home to be there with him. Dolly is a wonderful friend to have but I am the better friend. :} "}.
Thank all of you for your prayers and please continue to pray for a speddy recovery. So far so good.

Finally Home
Hello to all my wonderful friends,
I am now at Bruce and Kristi's home and resting well.
We got here about 3:00 or so and Hannah had her room all ready for her grandmother.
She had clean sheets and I have 4 pillows that I brought from home so I am set.
Kristi had a most wonderful dinner tonight. She is keeping me on my new eating habbits. In other words, I am on a STRICKED diet.
Now what I had tonight I could eat that way all the time.
She had oven baked chicken without the skin, potatoes, green beans cooked without bacon grease and fruit cocktail and a wondrful glass of cold ice water. Boy was I full when I finished. It was wonderful.
I had the most wonderful nights rest last night. The first time in almost
2 full weeks. When I woke up it was 4 am and I was so rested. They helped me to the bathroom and gave me my pain pills and then I went back to sleep until 6:30.
The doctor came in and looked me over and then told me I could go home. What a wonderful blessing that was to hear.
When Kristi picked me up we stopped by Rite Aid and dropped off my perscriptions and then she drove me over to the house to pick up a few things. Of course I did not get out of the car but my sweet little Dolly came out to kiss her mommy. She is such a sweet little dog.
Larry came over and had dinner with us tonight. It was so good just sitting down at the table together as a family and have prayer together and eat as a family.
I would like to take this time to thank all of you for your wonderful prayers for me before the surgery, during the surgery and since the surgery. God has heard all your prayers.
I love each and every one of you and pray that God will watch over each of you.
I count the days until the next time we can meet together as God's children.
Continue to pray for me and for Kristi's family as they help me get back on my feet.
Pray for Larry as he is a lonely little man without his wife at this time.
Of course he can come over anytime he want's to. His little girls are always happy to see their daddy and grandpa.

Tody is the day
Good morning,
Today is my big day.
I need to be at the hospital at 10:00 sharp.
Surgery is to be at 1:00. I am praying that if it is the Lord's will that they will come for me EARLY so that I am not just laying around thinking about it.
I will be driving over to Kristi's and she will continue on to the hospital with me.
I love having her around always but especially in times like these. She is a precious daughter and I love her dearly.
Carris Grigg a man in our church gave me a track yesterday morning titled, "Guidelines for a Successful Surgery." Boy was it good. It gave me scriptures from God's word. Scriptures for, Before Surgery, During Surgery and After Surgery. Now I have read these verses over and over and over again and I understand them so very much. But I must say that they have even become more dear to my heart today.

What a day
Hello there,
What a day that Larry and I had today.
It began when Dolly came and jumped on the bed at 3:30 am this morning and wanted to go out.
Well I took her out and came back in and went back to sleep after about an hour.
Larry had to get up at 4:45 to go to dialysis.
Then I got up at 8 to get ready to go to the hospital.
Larry got here about 10:15 and got dressed and we left about 20 till 11. I had to be there at 11 so it was a very close call.
My dear sweet husband who had dialysis this morning took me to the hospital and pushed me in the wheel chair all over the hospital.
First I had to sign in. After signing in he whelled me to the lab where they took 5 viles of blood. Then they had to have a urine spec., then he wheeled me to have an EKG then on for a chest xray then back to the Lab to meet with the Joint Academy nurse Sherry who will be the one taking care of me after the surgery and then I finally met with Dr. Hansman who told me everything looked OK.
Now I ask him if I could have a spinal block and he said yes. Then I ask him if I would be alseep when they did the cutting and he said, do you want to be asleep and I said yes then he told me I could not have the spinal. Boy was I sad. I really did not want to wake up in all that pain but I guess I will.
Now all this was done with a lot of waiting in between and we were so tied when we finally got out of there and got home about 3:30 or 4:00. I could not but help thank the Lord for my home. There is no place like home.
Things are set for Nov. 3rd. which I think all of you know. The time should be at 1:00 unless there is a cancelation which I hope there will be.
Continue to pray for me. I am starting to get the willies in my tummy.

43 years
What a wonderful day today was.Tomorrow Larry and I will be married 43 years.
He has to have dialysis at 6 and I need to be at the hospital at 11 for test before I go into the hospital for my hip surgery so we celebrated today.
We were in no hurry this morning so we had a very relaxing morning. At 12 noon we left for Cracker Barrell for a wonderful lunch. After lunch we went to Sam's club and did a little window shopping. After that we saw a sign that Gas was 2.60 a gallon so we filled up the truck. When we got home we exchanged gifts and cards with each other. It was really a good day for the both of us. Just being together and realxing.
Dolly got the left overs from lunch. She was really a happy little girl doggie.
We both have done nothing today and we are both tired. Can you believe that.
Well, 43 years ago we said "I DO." Now I will be honest and tell you we have had our good days and our bad days but I still love this guy of mine and would do it all over again.
It was a very romantic wedding. "WE ELOPED."
We ended up in Vinton Virginia. We hid from my Mom and Dad because we thought they would kill both of us. But my dad was happy for me an Larry and after a couple of days my Mom came around.
We moved to Ohio after about a year and bought our first home in Lorain.
We have had 3 wonderful children and 5 beautiful grand children.
God Is Good All The Time!!!
We were not saved at the time of our marriage and if it had not been for the Lord it would not have lasted. WHY???? Because we were sinners. After about 5 years of marriage we both were saved and God has brought us through a lot. Some things that without God we would never have made it.
He is a wonderful father, grand father, Sunday Shcool teacher, teacher of music, a good provider and has been a very faithful husband.
I love him and just want to say, Thank you for your love, your support and faithfulness to me for these 43 years.
I love you dearly.
Hope all of you out there will have a wonderful 40 years or longer together and with the Lord on your side you will.

Gary's Birthday Party
Happy Birthday to Gary:
What a wonderful time we had sharing Gary's birthday with us last night.
Gary is just one of our adopted grandson's from our church and he is loved very much by all of us.
He turned 15 just 3 days after my birthday.
Gary and his parents came over Friday evening and we just had the most blessed time of laughter and lots of food and gag gifts for Gary.
What a sport he is.
I have taken a lot of pictures so I will be sharing the evening with all of our friends.
Gary is a very talented young man and God has blessed him with many instruments and he does use them for the Lord.
One of which is his great since of humor.
Then here we are with the 3 stooges of Faith Baptist Church. Gary our birthday boy on the left, Justin & Jeremy. What a riot they are to be around. You cannot leave this company of boys without hurting where you have laughed so much.
This is Brother Mike and Mrs. Diane. Gary's mom & dad.They are a very sweet couple and we love them both.
Thank you both for bringing the wonderful pizza's and pasta from Pizza Hut. Very GOOD!!!
Of course there would be no party without the Paw Paw. He is loved very much by Gary. They are really just like Paw Paw and Grandson. :} :}
I told you in the beginning that Gary played a lot of music and this is his new violin that his parents got him for his birthday. I thought it was beautiful. I have never seen one like this before. I was so glad to hear that he is taking lessons from Jimmy Owens. I knew that he had a different sound and then I found out he was taking lessons from Jimmy and knew why.Keep up the good work Gary. God is using you in ways that you don't even know yet.
And the gang is here. Except for Harrison and he is on the floor doing his trick. Enjoy the remaining pictures. We love you Gary and "HAPPY BIRTHDAY."

Birthday
Hello,
What a day I had on my 60th. birthday.
My very good friend Kelly got me a beautiful pocket book, 2 books and some stationary. She is sooooo sweet. Thank you Kelly. The little children in Kelly and my Sunday School class made me birthday cards and sent them home to me on Sunday. I was hurting so bad on Sunday morning that I had to take 2 pain pills and go back to bed so I missed the children that morning. Kelly, would you please thank them for me when you guys meet this Sunday morning.
I am not able to climb the stairs at this time so Mrs. Kelly is doing the teaching by herself and taking care of the class. I do thank God for her. She is a very special person and I love her dearly.
My Secret Pal got me for my birthday, a beautiful Teal jacket and matching necklace. For my anniversary she got me a night gown that I really love.
Kristi's family got me a pair of beautiful soft PJ's, a pair of pink house shoes and some nice undies with a beautiful card.
John and Jenny got me a beautiful Noah's Ark, 14 c/gold bracelet and beautiful card.
Larry got me 2 bottles of Estee Lauder Perfume, "Youth Dew" it is my favorite, the new free gift that came with that and 3 new movies. Not to mention the beautiful cake that Amy Cook made for me. I collect Tea Pot's and the cake had a tea pot on top of it that she did with her own little hands. Amy you did such a wonderful job and the cake was delicious. I also want to thank you for the time I know that you put into this beautiful cake.The leaves all around the bottom of the cake were very special to me. I love the fall leaves and I love to go to the mountains this time of the year. Due to my hip I was not able to go but Amy brought the mountains with the beautiful leaves to me. Thank you again and I love you dearly.
My sister-in-law sent me money and of course that is always nice. :} :}
Last night at church I got some Room Fragrance that you put sticks into the bottle for 30 minutes then turn them upside down and boy does it smell good. Thank you Amanda and girls for that wonderful gift. It is funny because I did not get a good look at it at first and I thought it was perfume. She let me know what it was and I thank her for that. It is great.
I have also received many beautiful cards and phone calls from so many and I thank you for that.
Well, I am going to close for now and change my sheets on my bed and try to get that room done today.
Take care and remember to pray for me as I get ready for my hip replacement on November 3rd.

Surgery
Good morning,
Today I am 60. I was going to say a young 60 but that would be a big fat lie. :} :}
It is good to be alive.
While having my devotions this morning I came across a verse that I know I must have read many times and it just reached out and grabbed me this morning.
In Thessalonians 2:4, But as we were allowed of God to be put in TRUST with the GOSPEL,
I cannot believe that I missed this verse. To think that someone like me who does not deserve God's love would put His word in my trust. What a responsibility for me to have.
I pray I will use this trust wisely and not take His word for granted.
Along with my devotions I read some thing that Joe Aldrich wrote and I quote, "My hands must needs be busy Lord," and indeed her hands were as she had 9 children, She was washing, ironing, cooking, feeding, bathing ,correcting cleaning, chauffeuring and shopping."
Are our lives much different today? Sometimes we don't confess to God like we should because there is no time for quiet handed meditation. So like mother we pray "In the midst of busyness, keep within my heart a quiet place."
"Hands in the dishwater...talking with God.
Folding clothes...talking with God
Waiting on the phone...talking with God
Driving the car...Talking with God"
There is really no excuse for us not having that one on one with the Lord.
Let us also remember to tell others what God has done for us and what He can do for them too.
Well, I pray that your day will be a good one and that you will have that wonderful fellowship with the Lord. He loves you and wants you to talk with him today and He will talk back if you listen.

In Thessalonians 2:4, But as we were allowed of God to be put in TRUST with the GOSPEL,
I cannot believe that I missed this verse. To think that someone like me who does not deserve God's love would put His word in my trust. What a responsibility for me to have.
I pray I will use this trust wisely and not take His word for granted.
Along with my devotions I read some thing that Joe Aldrich wrote and I quote, "My hands must needs be busy Lord," and indeed her hands were as she had 9 children, She was washing, ironing, cooking, feeding, bathing ,correcting cleaning, chauffeuring and shopping."
Are our lives much different today? Sometimes we don't confess to God like we should because there is no time for quiet handed meditation. So like mother we pray "In the midst of busyness, keep within my heart a quiet place."
"Hands in the dishwater...talking with God.
Folding clothes...talking with God
Waiting on the phone...talking with God
Driving the car...Talking with God"
There is really no excuse for us not having that one on one with the Lord.
Let us also remember to tell others what God has done for us and what He can do for them too.
Well, I pray that your day will be a good one and that you will have that wonderful fellowship with the Lord. He loves you and wants you to talk with him today and He will talk back if you listen.

Sunday
Hey to all,
Sunday was a very good day if you went to church!!!!!
If you did not go you really missed a blessing.
Larry went Sunday morning and we both went Sunday night.
My hip was hurting so bad when I got up I had to take some medicine and went back to bed. It was not much better Sunday evening but I needed to go for my own spiritual needs. "Which are many."
I won't be long today as my Doctor's appointment is at 2:20 with Dr. Hayes to get my exact date of the surgery.
I may have mentioned this is a previous blog, I will be staying at Kristi's when I get out of the Hospital.
They are so gracious to have me and help take care of me so that it is not a burden on Larry having dialysis 3 days a week and then for Krisit so that she will not have to leave her home and come to my house.
I love visiting with this sweet family.
To be able to go into their home is such a blessing. You never go in unless you are greeted with BIG smiles from all of them and you get BIG bear hugs from everybody. There is always christian music in the back ground and some times you can't always hear it because of all the laughter and talking from everyone.
All the children are so talented.
Hannah plays the piano. "I think she still does." It is very hard to get her to play for me. But when she gets started she is such a blessing to hear. She plays very well but I think she is a perfectionist and she does not like to make mistakes. She also plays the piccolo and flute. Sings like a little bird.
Then there is Justin. Where do I begin. The trumpet, bass guitar, fiddle, harmonica, regular guitar, the bass and wanting to learn to play the piano. He also sings with the Son's Of Faith.
Last but not least there is Harrison. He does not play an instrument yet but he is a ladies man. I think every little girl in our church loves Harrison. I guess he takes after his sweet daddy. He is most definitely a ladies man. "I am referring to Harrison, not Bruce."
They are normal brother's & sisters and they have their times of not agreeing with each other but you can sure tell there is a lot of love between these siblings.
Church was wonderful last night. I am so glad that I got to go.
First thing that was such a blessing was to walk into the church doors and there stood brother Jr. with his grandson. That was an answer to prayer. He is such a sweet young man. We have missed him a lot and through much prayer he was able to come back with his grandpa. That in itself was a blessing.
Then to be greeted by so many of my loved ones. I am talking about my christian family. They are just wonderful.
When Larry came home yesterday his arms were loaded with gifts from my Sunday School class and then my Secret Pal. Things for my birthday and anniversary.
Boy was I surprised. It was such a blessing. These sweet little children got me cards they made in class with Mrs. Kelly's help. That was so sweet of you Mrs. K. and I thank you for that.
I got a book "Secrets Of Wisdom From Mother's Heart." Written by Joe Aldrich.
I started reading it last night and could not hardly put it down. What a blessing I was getting out of some of the things that this sweet mother use to say and do.
She had so many children and went home to be with the Lord when she was a young mother.
Her daughter was a senior in high school when her mother went home to be with the Lord.
She went to the University of Washington and graduated from Biola College.
She had 9 children and wanted all of them to be saved at an early age and grow up loving and serving the Lord. Even though her life was short of this earth she left her children with a wonderful heritage from the Lord and all of them are in full time christian service.
Her mother felt that being a mother was and I quote,
"The high holy calling of motherhood is one of the most challenging assignments on the face of the earth. It is a sacred trust, a commitment to use every means possible to help each child grow up loving Jesus and embracing His agenda for life."
What an example she left for her children. Surely these children rose up early in the morning and called her blessed.
They never had a TV in their home and the only music in their home was gospel music.
Their parents intentionally chose to make the godliness of their children of highest priority. "Joe Aldrich." 1998
What else could you say when it comes to Godly parents.
Well enough for today.

I must go and get my bath and get dressed so that I will smell good for all those people who will be around me. :} :}

SURGERY
Hello to all my friends,
Just an update about my back.
Well, it is really my left hip which I knew all the time but it took another 6 months before things really showed up.
Yesterday I went to the Doctor because I could not hardly walk for the past week or so. I mean more so than normal for me.
When they looked at the x-rays not only did my hip shows no padding but I have spurs and many of them.
I will see the Doctor who is going to do the surgery on Monday at 2:20 and he will tell me what to expect and also if it will be next Wed. Or Friday.
Needless to say I am looking forward to this as I have suffered for such a long long time.
Today is the day that my sweet heart goes for his shot in the eye
ball.
Please pray for him as he is NOT looking forward to having this done.
Yesterday a fine young man came to our home and fixed my washing machine. It was leaking water.
He found that it was a simple thing as having a hose replaced because the other one had a hole in it.
Praise God for Ken Carter and we thank you so much for all that you have done for us.
I think Ken is going to have some of the guys from his Sunday School class come out and replace the floor in my wash room where the water did some damage.
I will cook for them that day. This will be a good day for all of us.
What a blessing to have such a wonderful family in the Lord.

Cleaning out the hall closet & Doctor Visit
Hello to all my friends,
Yesterday I decided to clean out the hall closet in the living room hall way.
I am trying to get things ready for a yard sale and came across this naviator's hat that Bruce brought to Larry years ago.
I ask him, honey do you want to keep this thing, he smiled and said oh boy my hat. You would have thought I found his long lost friend. I handed it to him and walked out of the room.
Well, he went back to whatever he was doing and it was about 15 or 20 minutes later and this is what I find.
I just laughed and laughed. He is sooooooooo cute!!!!!
Now this is him at the Doctor's office the day he was suppose to have his shot in the eye ball. :{ :{
The Doctor looking at Larry's eyes and finds leakage in the back of the eye. Now he has to tell him that he will be putting dye in the veins so that he can see better.
This is the nurse putting the needle in his vein . She used the smallest needle she had. Larry has rolling veins and she was pretty good. Got it on the second try.

Because of all the drops, dye and x-rays they had to give him a pair of sun visors to put over his glasses so the sun would not be to bright for him.
This is Larry's reward for being such a good little boy at the Doctor's office.
This is our sweet little waitress that waited on us while at the famous Cracker Barrell.
We had a good day.

My Sweet Husband
Hello to all,
This is Wednesday evening and we should be getting ready for church but we are not able to make it tonight.
I have really hurt myself today by all the things I tried to do before Friday and it was just way to much for me.
I may not be able to go back to work at all. Continue to pray about this with me and Larry.
Larry and I were sitting at the table this evening eating dinner and I said something to Larry and I thought he could not hear me. Well being the soft hearted person I am, I started crying. I was thinking to myself,
"Here is a wondrful man that I have been married to for almost 43 years and since he retired from the Gaston County Police Dept. he has lost his hair, his teeth are bad, his eye sight is going and now his hearing is gone."
I looked at him and said, while crying now, honey you use to be such a strong vibrant man and now so many things has gone wrong.
Well, he started laughing and said
"I thought you were crying because you were missing your mother again."
When I looked at his face and saw him laughing I got tickled and started laughing myself.
He is a wonderful man and I love him dearly. He can find something funny in everything.
We will celebrate our 43rd. wedding anniversary the 22 nd. of this month. Is not that great. I love him more today than I did 43 years ago if that is possible.
When I said those words, TO LOVE, HONOR AND OBEY AND IN SICKNESS AND IN HEALTH UNTIL DEATH DO US PART, I truly meant every word.
It has not always been a bed of roses but God has brought us through a lot of ruff times as well as good times. The good times always out weighing the bad times.

memories
Hello Friends,
Well, here it is Monday morning and I am so blessed with my Church and my wonderful Christian friends.
We had 2 wonderful meetings at our church yesterday, but I must say that last night was a treasure for me.
It started when the choir sang "I am Glad I got lost so I could be found that wonderful day."
My oh my, how the Lord let me see back over 35 years ago when I was such a sinner running from God.
For months before my salvation I would go out to pay bills or to the grocery store and end up coming back with hives, crying and being a nervous wreck by being afraid that someone was going to shoot me. Imagining a sniper with a gun on top of a building some where going to shoot me. I would end up coming home getting nothing done because I was afraid that it would happen and I would go to hell.
God continued to deal with my heart but I would not listen to him.
One night our son John got really sick and had to be taken to the hospital.
They ended up putting him in and of course he was put in an oxygen tent. Very Very ill.
I was there all night and all morning when I decided to go home and freshen up and clean my house a little then go back to the hospital.
While on the way back to the hospital I had to cross over a very large bridge called the 21st. street bridge. The Lord spoke to my heart and said Janice, one of these days you are going to wreck and will go to hell. What I did was laugh and say ,"NOT ME LORD, NOT JANICE BIRT."
Well I went on to the hospital and stayed for a while longer and was on my way home across that same bridge and fell asleep behind the wheel.
I hit an oncoming car at 70 miles an hour and it took me down a bank toward Lake Erie. Now the only thing that stopped the car from going into Lake Erie was a guard rail that know on knew was even there, "NO ONE EXCEPT GOD THAT IS."
I woke up 5 days later after being in a coma all that time. A doctor was to arrive that day to operate and releave some of the fluid that was on my brain from the wreck. Of course they had only given me 25% chance to live and my entire family was there. Over 50% of the bones in my body were fractured. GOD IS GOOD ALL THR TIME!
When I woke up my mother was at the foot of my bed and my brother John was standing beside me crying. I remember patting him on the hand a saying, "Don't cry John, sissy is going to be alright."
Then my mother started crying and ran out of the room to go and get the doctor.
Of course things started getting better but it would be a long time before I would get to go home.
The accident happened on March 3, 1970. While still in the hospital on April 2, 1970 God spoke to me in the quietness of my room at 9:30 P.M. and I cried and ask him to forgive me, a sinner and come into my heart.
Well, He did and today I am still His and will be until He calls me home.
Thank you God for saving a poor lost sinner like me.
Now I have not always lived to please the Lord but my goal is to be more like Him each day and that needs to be worked on every day by walking, talking and reading His precious word. Why He loved me so I will never fully understand, but since he does I will try to honor him and praise him until he calls me home.
Well, that is all I have to say at this time. I will tell you what happend the next day when I have a little more time. Maybe tomorrow or even sometime today.
The journey gets sweeter and sweeter as the days go by. Maybe not without pain, some heartache or even struggles from every day life. The wonderful thing about all those things is to remember that He said. He would never leave us nor forsake us. Thank you Lord.

Job at bank and Social Security Disability
Hello to all my friends in blogger land,
Well, this is our little friend the monkey.
He lives in our bathroom and is a joy to have around.
Actually, this is my shower curtain that I found at wal-mart.
Now I have always gone with white lace for years as part of my bathroom assecories but when I found this I really went out on a limb and ended up liking it.
Larry finds it hard to go in and sit there with a money looking at him but I think he likes him too.
I know our grand chilren like it and that is all that matters.
I am praying about going in next Monday and quit my job at the bank.
I have talked with the lady at the Social Security office and she told me that I could not have a job when applying for disability.
My back and legs are in very bad shape and I know that it would be so hard for me to try and go back to work.
Larry also needs me here at home with him.
I am going to pray about this the next couple of day and ask that you pray with me also.
It will be at least 6 months before I would start drawing if they grant me the disibality. This would also mean that I would not have medical insurance for the next 6 months. Also it is not for sure that I would be approved either.
A lot to consider.

Larry and His Sweet Sister, Janice
I would like to introduce you to Janice L Brooks, Larry's younger and only sister.
He does not have a brother and he does love Jan.
She came down Wednesday from Brentwood Tennessee to spend a couple of days with Larry.
She has not seen Larry in about 3 years and wanted to come.
Of course she is welcome to come any time.
We love her dearly and she is a blessing to us.
She is ____ years of age. About 1 year and 3 months younger than Larry. I cooked a wonderful meal for her birthday and we had a little get
together with the children while she was here to celebrate.
They were both in the band all through high school and were loved by all.
She was my Maid Of Honor when Larry and I got married.
In my eyes she has not changed at all.
Still as pretty today as she was 43 years ago.
We had a great time Janice and we are looking forward to having you again, soon I hope.
I will share a few more pictures of them before I go.
I pray that all of you will have a wonderful week-end and let's remember to pray for all the people in Texas, La. & Ark.
I know that all those who have left there homes during this time of bad weather are wanting to get back but I also know that it would be dangerious for them to return before they say it is OK.

Good Morning
This is Saturday morning and I am home alone and thought I would blog about nothing really exciting.
I guess I am bored.
Dolly is lying here beside me and she is whinning on and off because her daddy left her here and did not take her with him.
She loves for him to take her riding in the truck.
When she sees him getting ready she is there beside him all the way until he gets ready to leave in the truck. She was disappointed this morning when he did not take her.
He is on his way to Gaffney to get gas then he is going over to Kristi's to cut her grass for her.
He loves his John Deer and tries to find reasons for using it.
He just sits on it and loves how it turns so easy.
He took Hannah to the mall yesterday and got her Aerospotal Perfume.
She was so disappointed when it came up missing. She works hard for her little bit of money that she has and she is very careful how she spends it. When she went to Purto Rico she found it for 14.00 and bought her some.
Well, when I found out it was missing I called the mall here and found out they had it on sale for 14.99 so Paw Paw took her out and bought her some more. She was walking on air all evening. She is one sweet girl.
I got up this morning and let Dolly out then made me a fresh pot of coffee.
It was wonderful.
When Larry got up I fixed him a wonderful breakfast of bacon, scrambled eggs with cheese, toast & orange juice. He loved it.
I am going to start my laundry when I get this blog finished.
I am watching Fox news this morning.
I have been keeping up with the politics on our Presidential Canidates.
I must say after I heard about McCaines pick for VP. I was surprised but after hearing her speak she really sounds great. Time will tell. She looks like she knows more than what they say she does.
Well let me go and get my laundry started while Larry is gone so that when he gets back I can spend some time with him.
