Good Morning

Hello to all out in blogger land,

Today is Saturday and I was able to sleep until almost 9 this morning.

It is beautiful outside today. Yes it is hot but God has given us the most beautiful sunshine and skies to look at today.

When I did get up it was to the whine of Dolly at the bedroom door and the smell of good coffee that my sweet heart had made for me.

He is a special gift from God. Yes we have had our ups and downs but the Lord was in it all.

WE will be celebrating our oldest grandson's 16th. birthday next Saturday and we are looking forward to it.

He has blessed our hearts from day 1.

Bruce and Kristi were in Germany when he was born on June 18, 1992.

If you thought that this Maw Maw and Paw Paw were going to wait until they got home before we were able to see him then you thought wrong.

We got our pass ports and were in Germany on June 28th. and was it a blessed reunion with Kristi and Bruce. Now when I found my daughter at the top of the stairs coming down with this little sack on the front of her I just started crying. She was so beautiful and yet very white in the face. After all folk's she had just given birth to the most wonderful grand child in the WHOLE wide world. :} :} Of course he was the first but after that then God sent other most wonderful grandchildren to us . If you don't say that about your own then something is wrong.

We have seen him get saved, baptised, and grow in the Lord all these years. There is coming a day in the near future when he will be out on his own and of course leaving home and I pray that even if he is called away to some far mission field that God will bless him wherever he goes. I would rather see him in God's will than to see him stay close by and not doing anything for the Lord.

That is enough about Justin. All my grand children mean the world to me and I love each and every one of them with that same love that I have for Justin.

Larry and I went to Sam's yesterday evening after I got off of work and we picked up a few things. Then I wanted to take him someplace very special for dinner that he would enjoy for Father's Day.

Well he and I ended up going to Longhorn Steak House. As we were going in we ran into Pastor and Mrs. Ava and their son Josh.

It was so wonderful seeing Mrs. Ava. She had been away from us for 18 day's on a special trip. I really missed her and am so thankful that God brought her home safely to us.

Well I must go for now and get cleaned up so that I can get some shopping done and my car washed and filled up with GAS. OH MY!!!!

I love all of you,

Maw Maw Birt

Yep, Justin is a great kid. But like you said, we have some great kids all over our family. Of course, the three best live with me. HA!!!!!

Well, I can tell how much you love your Grandchildren. I know that I love mine, each one so very much. I , too think that I have the best in the whole wide world. But then I am their Grandma. Glad to hear you are doing so good. I can tell your husband had a very happy Father's day as did mine. We are both very blest. Have a good day, Janice. connie from Texas
