Hello my sweet friends,
What a week at work and then today.
I really wanted to sleep until about 8 this morning but woke up at 7:20.
I took Dolly out and then sat and relaxed for a few minutes.
Larry fixed breakfast and we ate then he went out to cut grass before it got to hot. Well it got to hot anyway and he was exhausted when he was done.
While he was cutting grass I gave Dolly a bath. She was so good while I did this for her.
By the time I was done with that Larry had come into the house and was trying to rest a little.
I started laundry and then took a shower got dressed and left the house at 12:50.
I stopped over at Citgo to get the car washed but it was broken.
It is a strange thing about that. About every other Saturday it is broken and no one can get their gas at the price of 374 a gallon with a car wash.
I had a free car wash but could not get it so I vacumed the car out.
Well the bad news is, this lovely lady in our church gave me a beautiful cane a few years ago and when I got back into the car and drove off I realized that I had left it. So I go back to get it and guess what??? You are correct. It was already gone.
I loved that cane not only because of who gave it to me but it was a pink flower cane that you could fold. I will probably never find one like it again.
Anyway, after all that I drove down to SC to get gas for 371 a gallon and then went on to Hamricks to get some new clothes needed for the bank.
We have to wear uniforms and we need gray, blue and kaki color skirts or pants.
I was able to find what I need plus some other things. When I finished that I rushed back to Kings Mountain to get a few things at the Pharmacy and then home only to find that Larry had already left for the Cottage prayer meeting. I was going to go but did not make it back in time.
I am cutting this short, ha ha--- I need to go and wash my hair for tomorrow.
Take care friends and I love all of you.
By the way I have to work tomorrow as we need to make sure that the computers are up and running before we open the bank on Monday morning. We will work from 1 to 6.
I will miss church Sunday night but that cannot be helped.
Bye for now,
Love ,
Maw Maw

You do know it was Kellie Ross that bought you the cane, right? I don't know if I ever told you that it was NOT your secret pal that year. Nice to time to reveal this information, isn't it?
