My Love Of God

Good evening to all:

Today has been a very good day and it is now coming to an end.
My sweet husband had to have his dialysis today and he is so weak. Please remember him in your prayers.
He has his sermon all ready for tonight and just could not make it. His days for his treatment are on Monday, Wednesday & Friday. Yesterday he hurt so bad that they had to stop a little bit early and told him he would need to come back today. So my brave man went back today and finished up close to 3. When he got home I had him something fixed to eat and a very cold diet sundrop to drink. He relaxed a little and now I believe he is working on his blog.
I baked him a home made bananna pudding today and he took a pic of it so you will probably see it on his blog later. He does love bananna pudding.
We have been together now for almost 42 years. It will be 42 years in Oct. I would do it all over again if we had to. He has been a wonderful husband, good father, most wonderful grandfather and a real example to me as how to stay true and faithful to the Lord.
When he buys me special gifts I could be awaken up in the middle of the night with notes all over the house for me so that I would end up finding it about 30 minutes later. By that time I am fully awake and cannot go back to sleep and when I go to find my baby he is sleeping like a baby. Ha ha.
On my 40th. birthday I got up at 3 in the morning with him shaking me awake and took me outside where he had taken a 4x8 and a large white sheet and plainted a grave scene with over the hill written on it and blow your horn Jan is 40. I got black balloons that day and flowers that were black. It was the mose wonderful birthday I have had. Oh yes and the living room had crape paper 'BLACK strung from corner to corner.
When we were married 25 years our children decided we had to have a real church wedding since we eloped at 17 and 20. They felt we needed to do it wright.
They sent out invitations and ordered a beautfiul cake and it was so nice.
If God gives us 8 more years I would love to do it again at Faith with our dear sweet pastor Goodman to perform the ceremony.
Kristi wrote a song and sang it to us but I cannot find the words after all this time. She can do that again I know.
Well I am tired and must go. I will be teaching my 5 year olds tomorrow on the Writting On The Wall. Pray for us. I love these little ones with all my heart and I pray that they will grow up to serve and love the Lord with all their hearts.
I know we will have a great time in church tomorrow and I can't hardly wait to hear from some of our young people who went to camp this past week. I know they will have a lot to share with us tomorrow of God's blessings.
May your day be loving and wonderful with your church family and all of your loved ones.
Love to all,
Nanny

I can't wait to hear from the youth also. It's gonna be on tomorrow morning! I'm not even going to bother putting make-up on. Why waste it? LOL

The pudding looks beautiful, by the way. I'm sure it's not that pretty now. Hehehe

What a blessing to hear about you and your sweet husband!
I wanted to let you know that y'all are in my prayers. My mama does dialysis three times a week, too, and I understand how challenging it can be.
I have enjoyed visiting y'all!
Hope you enjoy your weekend ~
